Psychological Safety in the Workplace

Managers often carry responsibility for others’ well-being but aren’t sure how to speak up about their own. Psychological Safety is a two-hour virtual workshop that helps managers recognize interpersonal risk, choose when and where to raise a concern, and respond constructively when an employee asks for help. Participants practice language for discussing workload, emotional strain, mental health, and exclusion without requiring personal health disclosures. Through polls, chat reflection, realistic demonstrations, and paired breakout practice, they learn to make a specific request, listen without diagnosing, maintain clear work expectations, and agree on practical follow-through. Each participant leaves with a personal speaking-up plan and one observable change to how they lead their team.
